I founded Modern Mollusk with a simple philosophy: every homeowner deserves practical, professional staging that makes their largest asset stand out in the market. Occupied homes are my specialty, because most sellers live in their home while preparing to list — and I love helping them feel supported every step of the way.
From personalized consultations and photo-prep assistance to thoughtfully styled furnishings, I create staging solutions that balance function with appeal. For realtors, this means listings that look polished and strengthen client relationships. My path to staging wasn’t straightforward — I studied business, built a career in aerospace, and took time off to raise my family. But my love for design never left me. During the pandemic, I revisited home staging and knew instantly it was the creative and practical career I had been looking for.
That’s why I launched Modern Mollusk: to bring both creativity and strategy into a service that helps homeowners and realtors across Snohomish County achieve real results. With every project, my focus is on giving sellers a clear plan and easing their overwhelm, while helping agents elevate their brand and attract more buyers.
Four years later, occupied home staging has become our specialty. While many stagers shy away from the complexities of lived-in spaces, I embrace them — creating professional, polished results that make everyday homes stand out in the market.

At Modern Mollusk, we pride ourselves on our ability to create a cohesive look with the style that best suits the architecture and finishes of the home. Whether its a fresh take on mid century modern for those 1960’s and 70’s split levels, modern cottage for the older homes, or transitional for newer builds or remodels, we can deliver. Regardless of the style, we are using a lot of neutrals with just a pop of color and plenty of pattern and texture for interest.
